Tahiti Tahiti Intercontinental Hotel
This famous resort in Tahiti offers fine cuisine, from first-class dinner shows to the most intimate and intimate dining experiences. If you are a fan of the Tahiti Riviera or just a lover of good food, then the Intercontinental is your top choice on the island, and here's why. The intimate, romantic Le Lotus restaurant is located on an overwater deck and serves gourmet cuisine with a selection of quality French wines.
The panoramic lagoon rooms offer views that extend from the lagoon to the island of Moorea in the distance. The panoramas on the balcony of each room are 97 square meters and offer views over the hotel gardens to the infinity pool and lagoons.
The Deluxe rooms with panoramic views are decorated in a colonial style of the 1930s and overlook the sand pool with bottom. Overwater bungalows with direct access to the lagoon are a picture of Polynesian commas dating, synonymous with romance and comfort. In the so-called Lotus Area there are 14 lagoon bungalows, which are above and completely surrounded by the lagoons.
The Motu Villa has bedrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows and is modeled after the classic colonial villas of the 1930s and 1940s in New Zealand. At the end of the resort there is a private villa with its own private beach and private lagoon. The InterContinental Tahiti Resort is one of only two hotels in the world with private beaches. There are three hotels on the island: the Tahitian Resort, the Polynesian Residence Hotel and the Pacific Resort.
The Superior Lagoon Overwater Bungalows are located at the end of the pontoon and offer access to the lagoon, which is integrated into the beach and can be reached from the main entrance of the hotel on the west side of Tahiti. They are tastefully decorated and offer all the amenities of an international deluxe resort. The Superiorlagoon Overwater Bungalow features a private beach, private waterfalls and a private pool.
The Standard Rooms are a great start to your French Polynesia visit, whether you are visiting an above-water bungalow in Bora Boras or looking for a starter bed in the hotel.

The InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa is located in the heart of Papeete, one of the most popular tourist destinations on the island of Bora Bori. This super convenient location means that it is a place where many people get their first taste of the tropical paradise. The hotel has been well behaved due to its proximity to the city center with a good number of restaurants, bars, shops, cafes and restaurants. Located in the heart of downtown Papesete, this hotel is not a seafront hotel like some other resorts in Tahiti.
Whether you stay for just one night or a week, there are many great resorts in Tahiti to choose from, but after staying in several hotels in Papeete, the Intercontinantel Resort Tahitti is my favorite among the others.
The resort has overwater bungalows in French Polynesia, which are fitted with glass and tablecloths, and perhaps the most striking feature of the Intercontinantel Resort Tahitti is that they are modeled after traditional Polynesian houses known as fare - fah - ray. The Deep Ocean Spa is a beautiful and luxurious spa in central Tahiti, just a short walk from the main entrance of the hotel.
We spent a lot of time just hanging out at the diving pool, and in hindsight our 10 days here may have topped our experience in Bora Bora. Our honeymoon stay was absolutely fantastic and we loved our bungalow, but we were quite exhausted after taking our last flight from Bori to Tahiti and considering visiting the city for dinner. We had planned to come to town after dinner and so we felt in Boras Boralas, so we would not go there unless someone paid all expenses.
